Ingredients
  

  • 2 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 cups Granulated sugar
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Whole milk

Method
 

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch cake pan.
  2. Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream Butter & Sugar: Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy (3-4 mins).
  4. Add Eggs & Vanilla: Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
  5. Alternate Mixing: Gradually mix in dry ingredients and milk (starting and ending with flour).
  6. Bake: Pour batter into the pan and bake for 30-35 mins (until a toothpick comes out clean).
  7. Cool: Let cool in the pan for 10 mins, then transfer to a wire rack.
