Ingredients

  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Sweet pickle relish
  • 2 tbsp French dressing (or substitute with ketchup + pinch of paprika)
  • 1 tsp White vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Diced onion (optional, for texture)

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Airtight container (for storage)

Method

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, French dressing, vinegar, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and salt until smooth.
  2. Adjust Consistency: For a thinner sauce, add 1–2 teaspoons of water or milk.
  3. Rest: Let the sauce sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Serve: Spread on burgers, use as a dip for fries, or store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: The sauce tastes better after chilling overnight.
  • Substitutions: Replace French dressing with 1 tbsp ketchup + ½ tsp paprika if needed.
  • Spice Level: Add a dash of cayenne for heat.
