Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ tsp Baking powder
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter (softened)
  • ¾ cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • ½ cup Sprinkles (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Dry Mix: In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream Butter & Sugar: Beat butter and sugar until fluffy (~2 minutes). Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Combine: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mix, alternating with milk. Fold in sprinkles (if using).
  5. Scoop Dough: Drop 1.5-tbsp portions onto the baking sheet, 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake: 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack.

Notes

  • Storage: Keep in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Variations: Add chocolate chips or lemon zest for flavor twists.
  • For Crispier Cookies: Bake 1–2 minutes longer.
