Dry Mix: In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Cream Butter & Sugar: Beat butter and sugar until fluffy (~2 minutes). Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
Combine: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mix, alternating with milk. Fold in sprinkles (if using).
Scoop Dough: Drop 1.5-tbsp portions onto the baking sheet, 2 inches apart.
Bake: 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack.
