Chicken Cottage Cheese Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 500g Boneless chicken (diced)
  • 200g Cottage cheese (paneer)
  • 1 medium Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 medium Tomato (pureed)
  • 1 tbsp Green chilies (chopped)
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp Fresh cream (optional)
  • 2 tbsp Oil/ghee
  • To taste Salt
  • 2 tbsp  Fresh coriander (garnish)

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix chicken with ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp red chili powder, ½ tsp salt, and 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste. Set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, then sauté onions until golden.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, and tomato puree. Cook until oil separates.
  4. Add marinated chicken and cook on medium heat for 8–10 minutes until tender.
  5. Stir in coriander powder, garam masala, and salt.
  6. Add cubed cottage cheese and gently mix. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Drizzle fresh cream (optional) and garnish with coriander leaves.

Notes

  • For extra creaminess, use Greek yogurt instead of cream.
  • Adjust chili levels to taste.
  • Replace paneer with tofu for a vegan version.
