Chicken Las Vegas Recipe

A creamy, cheesy, and flavorful baked chicken dish inspired by the bold flavors of Las Vegas. Tender chicken breasts are smothered in a rich sauce with mushrooms, bacon, and melted cheese for an indulgent meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 6 slices Bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
  • ½ cup Heavy cream
  • ½ cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • ½ cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Preheat Oven – Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season Chicken – Rub chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Sear Chicken – In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  4. Cook Bacon & Mushrooms – In the same skillet, cook bacon until crispy, then remove. Sauté mushrooms until tender.
  5. Make Sauce – Lower heat, add heavy cream and sour cream, stirring until smooth. Mix in half the cheeses.
  6. Assemble – Place chicken in a baking dish, pour sauce over, and top with remaining cheese and bacon.
  7. Bake – Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and chicken is cooked through (165°F internal temp).
  8. Garnish & Serve – Sprinkle with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • For Extra Flavor: Add a dash of hot sauce or smoked paprika.
  • Make Ahead: Prep the sauce and sear chicken ahead, then bake before serving.
  • Substitutions: Use turkey bacon or swap heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
