Cream butter & sugar: In a bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla & salt: Mix in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
Incorporate flour: Gradually fold in the flour until a crumbly dough forms.
Shape cookies: Scoop small portions (1 tbsp each), roll gently, and place on the tray (they will crumble slightly—this is normal!).
Bake for 10–12 mins until edges turn golden.
Cool & dust: Let them cool for 5 mins, then dust with powdered sugar (optional).
