Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • ¼ cup Unsweetened applesauce
  • ¼ cup Natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 2 tbsp Coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 large Egg (or flax egg for allergies)
  • ½ cup Water or low-sodium broth

Method
 

  1. Preheat Oven – Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a small cake pan.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients – In a bowl, whisk flour and baking powder.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients – In another bowl, mix applesauce, peanut butter, coconut oil, egg, and water.
  4. Combine Mixtures – Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, stirring until smooth.
  5. Bake – Pour batter into the pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool Completely – Let it cool before serving. Frost with dog-safe yogurt if desired.
