Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • ½ cup Peanut butter (unsweetened, xylitol-free)
  • ½ cup Pumpkin puree (unsweetened)
  • 1 large Egg
  • ¼ - ½ cup Water (as needed)

  • Cookie cutter (bone-shaped or any fun shape)
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients – In a large bowl, combine whole wheat flour and rolled oats.
  3. Add wet ingredients – Stir in peanut butter, pumpkin puree, and egg. Mix well.
  4. Adjust consistency – Gradually add water (1 tbsp at a time) until the dough comes together (should be firm but not sticky).
  5. Roll out dough – On a floured surface, roll the dough to about ¼-inch thickness.
  6. Cut into shapes – Use a cookie cutter to create fun shapes (bones, hearts, etc.).
  7. Bake – Place cookies on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and crisp.
  8. Cool completely – Let them cool before serving to your pup. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

✔ Allergy-friendly option: Substitute wheat flour with coconut or chickpea flour if your dog has grain sensitivities.
