- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease the cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, sift flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
- Add water, oil, vanilla extract, and vinegar. Whisk until smooth (no lumps).
- Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan. Frost (optional) and enjoy!
