Fruit Pizza Recipe

A delicious, easy-to-make homemade pizza with a crispy crust, tangy tomato sauce, melted mozzarella, and your favorite toppings. Perfect for family dinners or gatherings!

Ingredients
  

  • 300g 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 5g 1 tsp salt
  • 4g 1 tsp sugar
  • 7g 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 240ml 1 cup warm water
  • 30ml 2 tbsp olive oil
For the Sauce:
  • 120g ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 5g 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 5g 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2.5g ½ tsp salt
  • 2.5g ½ tsp black pepper
For the Toppings:
  • 150g 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 50g ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 75g ½ cup sliced bell peppers
  • 50g ½ cup sliced mushrooms
  • 40g ¼ cup sliced black olives
  • 10-12 10-12  pepperoni slices
  • Fresh basil leaves

Equipment

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rise for 1 hour (or until doubled in size).
  5. In a small bowl, mix tomato sauce, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  6. Set aside.
  7. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
  8. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  9. Transfer to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  10. Spread the sauce evenly over the dough.
  11. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  12. Add your favorite toppings (bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, pepperoni, etc.).
  13. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  14. Remove from oven and garnish with fresh basil.
  15. Slice and serve hot!

Notes

  • Dough Tip: For a crispier crust, pre-bake the dough for 5 minutes before adding toppings.
  • Gluten-Free Option: Use gluten-free flour blend.
  • Storage: Leftover pizza can be refrigerated for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best texture.
