Ingredients
  

For the Dough:
  • 250g 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 5g 1 tsp Instant yeast
  • 5g 1 tsp Sugar
  • 5g 1 tsp Salt
  • 30ml 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 180ml ¾ cup Warm water
For the Sauce:
  • 120g ½ cup Tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
  • 5g 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 5g 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2.5g ½ tsp Salt
  • 2.5g ½ tsp Black pepper
Toppings (Customizable):
  • 100g 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 50g ½ cup Pepperoni slices
  • 30g ¼ cup Bell peppers (sliced)
  • 30g ¼ cup Mushrooms (sliced)
  • 15ml 1 tbsp Olive oil (for drizzling)

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Rolling pin (or hands for stretching dough)
  • Baking sheet or pizza stone

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add olive oil and warm water, then mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead for 5 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Mix tomato sauce, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a circle (~12-inch).
  7. Transfer to a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.
  8. Spread sauce evenly, then add cheese and toppings.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese melts.
  10. Drizzle with olive oil before serving.

Notes

  • Dough Tip: For a crispier crust, pre-bake the dough for 5 minutes before adding toppings.
  • Toppings: Swap for veggies, chicken, or vegan cheese.
  • Storage: Reheat leftovers in a skillet for best texture.
