Ingredients
  

  • 4 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 4 tbsp Granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp Milk (or water)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • ¼ tsp Baking powder
  • ½ tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Chocolate chips (optional)

Method
 

  1. In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Stir in milk, oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  4. Cook on high for 60-90 seconds (microwave times vary; stop when the cake is just set).
  5. Let cool for 1 minute. Enjoy as-is or top with ice cream, whipped cream, or extra chocolate chips!
