Pizza Bread Recipe

A quick and delicious Pizza Bread that combines the flavors of pizza with the ease of baking bread. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or party food!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf French bread or baguette
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup Pizza sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • ½ tsp Red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh basil (chopped, for garnish)

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Mixing bowl
  • Pastry brush

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the French bread horizontally to create two long halves.
  3. Place them on the baking sheet, cut side up.
  4. In a small bowl, mix olive oil and minced garlic.
  5. Brush this mixture evenly over the bread.
  6. Spoon pizza sauce over the bread and spread evenly.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Add oregano and chili flakes (if using).
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh basil, slice, and serve hot!

Notes

  • Variations: Add toppings like pepperoni, bell peppers, or olives for extra flavor.
  • Storage: Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be reheated in the oven.
  • Make it Crispy: For extra crunch, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end.
