In a bowl, mix ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano. Shape into 4 equal-sized patties.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side until fully done.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on each patty, then top with pepperoni, bell peppers, and onions. Cover the skillet for 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese.
Lightly toast the burger buns in the same skillet or a toaster.
Spread pizza sauce on the bottom bun, place the cheesy patty with toppings, and garnish with fresh basil (optional). Cover with the top bun.
Serve hot with extra pizza sauce or marinara for dipping.
