  • 5g 1 tsp Salt
  • 2g 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 2g 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2g 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 2g 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 100g 1 cup Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 120ml ½ cup Pizza sauce
  • 30g ¼ cup Pepperoni slices
  • 30g ¼ cup Bell peppers (diced)
  • 30g ¼ cup Red onion (sliced)
  • 30ml 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)

Equipment

  • Skillet or Grill Pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula
  • Knife & cutting board

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano. Shape into 4 equal-sized patties.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side until fully done.
  3. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on each patty, then top with pepperoni, bell peppers, and onions. Cover the skillet for 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese.
  4. Lightly toast the burger buns in the same skillet or a toaster.
  5. Spread pizza sauce on the bottom bun, place the cheesy patty with toppings, and garnish with fresh basil (optional). Cover with the top bun.
  6. Serve hot with extra pizza sauce or marinara for dipping.

Notes

  • Vegetarian Option: Replace beef with a plant-based patty and use vegan cheese.
  • Extra Cheesy: Add a layer of melted cheddar or provolone for extra flavor.
  • Spicy Twist: Add jalapeños or chili flakes for heat.
  • Make Ahead: Patties can be prepped and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before cooking.
