Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups All-purpose flour (or bread flour)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • ¾ - 1 cup Warm water

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups/spoons
  • Rolling pin (optional)
  • Baking sheet or pizza stone

Method

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Make a well in the center, then add olive oil and warm water. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Turn onto a floured surface and knead for 3-5 mins until smooth. If sticky, add a little more flour.
  4. Cover with a damp cloth and let rest for 10 mins (no yeast = no long rise!).
  5. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
  6. Divide dough into 2 balls, roll out on parchment paper, and add toppings.
  7. Bake for 12-15 mins until crust is golden.

Notes

✅ No Yeast Needed: Baking powder gives a quick rise.
✅ Freezer-Friendly: Wrap dough balls in plastic and freeze for up to 1 month. Thaw before use.
✅ Crispy Tip: For a crispier crust, preheat baking sheet/stone before baking.
