A simple, quick, and traditional unleavened bread made with just a few basic ingredients. Perfect for religious observances (like Passover), flatbreads, or as a quick homemade bread option.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ cup Olive oil (or water)
  • ½ - ¾ cup Water (as needed)

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, combine flour and salt.
  2. Gradually mix in olive oil and water until a firm dough forms. Adjust water as needed.
  3. Knead for 2-3 minutes until smooth. Let rest for 5 minutes (optional).
  4. Divide dough into 4-6 balls. Roll each into a thin circle (~⅛ inch thick).
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook each piece for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly browned.
  6. Enjoy warm with dips, soups, or as a flatbread.

Notes

  • Storage: Keep in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.
  • Variations: Add herbs (rosemary, thyme) or spices (garlic powder) for extra flavor.
  • For Passover: Ensure all ingredients are certified kosher for Passover if needed.
