White Pizza Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • (450g) 1 lb Pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  •  (250g) 1 cup Ricotta cheese
  • (150g) 1 ½ cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • (50g) ½ cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • For garnish Fresh basil (optional)
  • To taste Red pepper flakes (optional)

Equipment

  • Pizza stone or baking sheet
  • Rolling pin (if making dough from scratch)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness (12-14 inches).
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil and minced garlic.
  4. Brush the dough evenly with the garlic-oil mixture.
  5. Spread ricotta cheese over the dough.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan evenly.
  7. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano.
  8. Transfer pizza to a preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  10. Top with fresh basil and a drizzle of olive oil.
  11. Slice and enjoy!
